| Once upon a time there was Pantofola d’Oro, the brand of true craftsmanship, which believed that every product has a soul and that quality was its most important foundation, capable of speaking to the heart of the greatest athletes and champions. That brand still exists. It’s called Pantofola d’Oro, and it became legendary as its DNA has never changed: the same dedication and a constant desire to interpret the spirit of its days, year after year. |

The latest new collection is called “PDO1”, and it’s the product of a partnership with Lapo Elkann, who recently joined the company's advisory board. And it is no coincidence, as the top product in the collection is “Allenamento ‘66”, an updated version of the style that was given this name in 1966 by Juventus footballer John Charles, Mr Agnelli’s favourite player.
The partnership takes several forms: in terms of products, with Italia Independent, and communications, with Independent Ideas. The creative factory has overseen a total re-branding project, reviewing the company’s heritage and the most significant, poetic anecdotes from the brand’s history. |

| Like the one about Emidio Lazzarini, the historic founder of Pantofola d’Oro, who used to give a matching polo shirt to players who wore his shoes. This tradition has been revived with a special collection of Polo shirts to be sold individually or with matching shoes starting in spring/summer 2009. |

Resoling will be done in our craft laboratories in Ascoli Piceno. In order to use this service, it is sufficient to give your Pantofola d’Oro to the authorized retailer and they will be returned to you within 20 working days resoled. The services cost depending on the type of soles used.
It is also possible to buy the soles in leather or in rubber in case your local shoe repairer can do the work. |
